Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This company sounds exactly like the company PMA. I've ordered from this comany several times & their magazines are overpriced & you only have 3 days to cancel. The number to call to cancel sends you to an answering machine. I did try to cancel one time, but gave up because I couldn't get a hold of anyone.

Each time a sales person comes to my door there is a different story of who they are. Most commonly they say they are college students. They speak in a fast & theatrical manner that is distracting to what they are really there for.

They don't answer direct questions, & draw your attention away with meaningless chatter about themselves or another aspect of the business. If you are bold enough to tell them that you are not interested, they keep pressuring & sometimes can get a little rude. Short of slamming the door in their face it is hard to get them to leave you alone.

This last time that they came I informed the lady that I did not have much money to spend on magazines. She insisted that I was investing in her & her future & not in magazines. Also she quoted what each copy would cost & not the total price for the subscription & of course you can only by 2 not just 1.

Needless to say my total was $123! I had planned to cancel my order but forgot about the 3 day cancelation rule. Every one of these sales people told me when I order that my check will not be cashed for two weeks to make sure that I am happy with everything.

That has happened each time I ordered except for this last time which caused my check to bounce. I ordered on April 3 and the check was cashed on April 6. I have not been able to get a hold of anyone in this company yet to get this resolved.

This company needs to be held accountable for the business practices of its independant contractors, which I am sure that they train themselves in diceptive, high pressure, theatrical sales tactics.

You have 18 names? I would like to get in touch with you and everyone else scammed so we can help each other out and share things that worked with them and find out if they're actually sending anyone to creditors or anything like that.

I am a long time customer of World Wide Readers Service out of Lakewood Colorado and have been for over 7 years. Im on my second 5 year subscription. The service is great and so is the people who switch my magazines and work with me on anything i ask. I have to been scammed on magazines and I saw a charge on my credit card that said World Wide of 49.98 and wondered what was going on and why i was being charged for a second account, but when i dug deeper it WAS NOT WORLD WIDE READERS SERVICE OF LAKEWOOD COLORADO it was a company going by WORLD WIDE PREFERRED READERS OUT OF THE SAME AREA AND OWN/OPERATED BY SOMEONE ELSE BUT WHEN YOU CALL THEY TELL YOU ITS WORLD WIDE READERS OF LAKEWOOD SO THEY DONT GET IN TROUBLE AND THE VICTIMS ARE LIKELEY TO STAY WITH THEM THINKING THERE HONEST AND THE OTHER ISNT. It took alot of digging and some resource before i found this out. The people who run the World Wide PREFERRED switches names all the time and their sales people are very threatening and intimidating acting but like i tell them when they call PRETENDING to be World Wide Readers of Lakewood i know your not them YOU ARE NOT affiliated with them and i know you have switched company names a ton of times to stay out of trouble. Please look closely next time to the difference in the 2 companies because im a very very SATISFIED customer of WORLD WIDE READERS OF LAKEWOOD and a very mad angry victim of WORLD WIDE PREFERRED.

I have 18 differnt names and numbers of others who have also been involved in this scam. World wide readers inc is a scam we get so many calls for this company. I work for WORLD WIDE READERS SERVICE LLC. out of Colorado. If someone does something lawyer or something i can and will provide names and numbers. I hope it can help. We stopped getting name and numbers because nobody is following threw and taking the next step. I just got off the phone with someone who got scammed.
