I signed up to iFriends with the understanding that it would be free. After looking over past charge statements I realized that they were charging me in upwards to $6.95 a month. This is ridiculous when they claim it is "free" to sign up. These people take scamming to a whole new level. I at no point choose to sign up for anything to do with a VIP status. After realizing these charges I quickly went to their site to cancel my account. However not knowing my account information from not visiting for a long period I submitted several usernames to make sure the right one was canceled. However the money has already been taken and the rip-off made. This company is a RIPOFF and I will never do business with them again.

Using the information that was provided, we were able to find Crazzycorbe's accounts with the iFriends service. Crazzycorbe actually created four separate accounts, and on one account he chose to upgrade his regular iFriends membership to a premium-level VIP membership. The regular membership is free, but the VIP membership that Crazzycorbe chose to access has an associated monthly charge. This charge was clearly and conspicuously disclosed in advance, and Crazzycorbe actively chose to create his account with the VIP membership. Because Crazzycorbe indicates that he no longer wishes to use the iFriends service, we have refunded charges that were billed to his account. If he has any questions, we encourage him to contact our Customer Care department at 1-800-243-9726. Each time we sent a charge to Crazzycorbe's credit card, his monthly statement included a toll-free telephone number so that he could contact us with any questions. We also provide a link to email and telephone contact information on every page of our website. Despite this, Crazzycorbe never contacted us to discuss the charges which appeared on his credit card bill. Had he done so, we would have been happy to immediately refund the charges and cancel the account. As stated above, we have already issued refunds, and Crazzycorbe should see these refunds reflected on his account within the next 7 to 10 business days. As Crazzycorbe mentions, he used our online cancellation utility to cancel his account. He has not received any charges since he cancelled his account. If a customer loses or forgets his or her login name or password, there is an online utility that can be accessed to receive this information, at https://orders.webpower.com/iFriends/findlogin.htm. Additionally, customers can request this information by emailing or calling us. Our company has an exemplary 11-year-record with all of the leading consumer protection agencies, and we are best in class in our industry in the development of model online consumer best practices. Every one of our web services is verified by TRUSTe to be on its sealholder list of "the most trustworthy online businesses."
