WQ Long Distance / QX Phone Card ripoff - they make erroneous charges to your credit card Thousand Oaks California
I found a charge for $59.78 on my Aug 2003 crdit card statement for "long distance service" I never ordered. Checking back I found 4 previous charges for $59.78 and one for $59.71. Charges appeared on some months and not on others, and used the two names: WQ Long Distance and QX Phone Card.
When I called to complain, they refused a refund, claiming they had an audio clip of my request for their service, and would email it to me. Now, a month later, they claim that they sent the email, but the email was "undeliverable". They offered to send me a CD if I would mail them $15. That's when I got on-line and read other reports from victims of this rip-off company.
I have filed a report with the FTC. How did these people get my credit card info? They must be stopped!
