Check the picture, check the site. Decide for yourself if this is false advertising. I did get my paltry $10 refund of the $30 purchase price. If you do the math, that means I only overpaid by $14. My plant looks so bad now it may not survive. I suppose I will have to get another one from a reputable company.

While the size of the Venus flytrap purchased was smaller that the customer expected, the type of plant the customer ordered was a more expensive variety. Size alone is not a determining factor when it comes to the price of these "specialty" Venus flytraps. While the picture does not show this, the Venus flytrap purchased has a very mature bulb which is continuously producing new leaves. In a very short period of time the plant will look completely different due to abundant new leaves. Regarding the customers claim that these types of Venus flytraps can be purchased for $6 is just plain wrong. These "specialty" Venus flytraps are more expensive plants and should no be compared to standard Venus flytraps. I generously refunded the customer $10 but the customer was unappreciative of this gracious gesture.
