This company has now twice ripped me off. This time I felt I should make other people aware so they don't fall victim to this scam.
I bought a motherboard (a computer component) that was advertised in big bold letters as "SLI compatible" (for those non tech-savvy individuals, that means that you can use two video cards, which are for gaming, branded by Nvidia).
Well the board was the wrong model, mislabeled and underpriced on their website. I called them, they admitted to this right away and said they would issue me a "full refund", unless I'd like to buy a different board which just happened to be $70 more. I called them out on the false advertising and the bait and switch move, it has been 1 week and they still have not changed the labeling on the website!
The scam here is that an arbitrary $13 out of the money they charged me is considered "shipping" and is NON-REFUNDABLE. They are overcharging for shipping, selling products that they know will be returned or are milslabelled, and even if they RMA the product they are profiting off the shipping charge. I have now lost $20 on their error, between the shipping fee they charged me and the money it cost me to ship it back to them.
In addition, their customer support is non-existent. They forward customer support to tech support, which has no clue what they are doing.
One time may be a coincidence, but 2 out of 2 horrible experiences with this company is enough reason to believe this is a usual practice of theirs. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM, you don't even know if they are sending you the product listed on the site!
