This is definitely a site that you will never win anything. You get charge 75.00 without you approving or knowing that your credit card is going to be charge. No possible changes of winning any items.

Here is the phone number for speaking to a representative. Supposedly it is in Pleasanton, CA  925-824-3172  M-F  9 to 5pm PST

Oh, there is a "chance" of winning...

..but most likely a substantial savings on any expensive item will be a very lucky feat..or you will have to bid a lot for days on end..or bid buddy so you can waste money while you sleep and possibly pay as much, or more then you can get the item retail. Or buy it now for full retail. Great savings...eh??

Now, if this site clearly explained it was gambling, which it is no matter how you slice it...this would be tolerable, as long as they are not using bots or shills (which there is no real easy way to prove regardless, no one regulates this industry yet, but it is under investigation).

If you think about the business model..much like gambling, it is in the best interest of the "house" that as many members lose as possible. Otherwise, how could they survive?

As far as the 75.00 charge, yeah they probably used a form of deception to charge you that..but that was avoidable by not submitting the account information to them in the first place.

One of the tactics these type of gambling sites are using to lure in victims..is fake videos that are designed with intent to look just like a real news report promoting this as a great way to shop online..an "alternative" if you will to paying retail. By fooling suckers into believing it is a real news report, it gives the site a sense of legitimacy, and hence the victim does not use the proper caution before submitting account info. The sites mislead the victim into thinking they can check out the site for free just by clicking "register now" etc, and the account information is only to be used for shipping and paying for any future winning "auctions".

Very dirty pool, but it works. Once you submit the account info..you authorized a charge that is somewhere on the site and/or fine print..even if they hid it on the first time to the homepage or sign up page. It is there somewhere..but you are distracted from it via a series of deceptive tactics and convolution.

Best way to get your money back if the site will not work with you..is print out as many similar complaints and evidence as you can find (there is plenty online), complaints, BBB etc and use this to encourage the bank to do a charge back for fraud. Let the site now you are going to do this. They may prefer to just refund rather then have a charge back since the more charge backs they accumulate against them, the easier it is for others to do the same, and the greater the chance for an investigation to be warranted.

If you end up stuck and bound..go through the cancellation process..and use your remaining bids for gift cards. You will probably end up paying more then they are worth after bids and shipping, but at least you should have something to show from this expense.
