 We called XFINITY to set up new service on 9/1/2015. After talking to a sales rep for $34.99 I could get a 50MB internet line for 12 months no commitment. However for $39.99 I could move up to 105MB. It was a no brainer to double the speed for $5.00 more. 

 After install speed would only reach 25MB. A tech was called out to troubleshoot the connection. They found the connection to be good but the plan was not set up for the "BLAST 105MB". A call from their tech to corporate they tried to say that the plan was not set correctly. They stated that it was $49.99 NOT $39.99 The technician explained that he was looking at it online the ad that we were going by. He had some trouble but eventually they agreed. 

 Once we got our first bill it was over $60.00. We called corporate and explained what was going on they said that the price is $49.99 +12 for as speed increase. We explained that we have a photo / screen shot. They argued and said that they have never had that promotion. They would not escalate to a higher level of customer support. We decided to terminate service after only 2 weeks.

 

 Classic "BAIT AND SWITCH"
