Unfortunately, we are not able to credit your account for the oil change for which you believe that you were overcharged. Our records indicate that a FGR Corporation retailer, doing business as Service Distributing owns the station. Chevron cannot interfere with the pricing policies of stations owned by independent dealers. Chevron Corporation does not own or operate any service stations that sell tires, batteries, and other automotive accessories, nor does Chevron warrant the automotive parts or workmanship provided by independently owned facilities that offer automotive repair and smog inspections; therefore, we cannot assume liability for an unsatisfactory repair. As a courtesy, we have forwarded your letter to the station owner for him to review and determine whether to offer any reimbursement.
