We issued a "Cease work order notice" in writing to the owner J.R. OBrien who then decided to visit our home at the half way point of this installation (if you can call it that) After reviewing the mess at our home Mr.OBrien stated to my wife "This is the worst fence installation & the biggest mess I have seen in 20 years". Mr. OBrien still wants to keep our money. What a concept! Do lousy work, don't take responsibility for the damages (he explained that his foreman Edwin, doesn't have the money to pay for the damages he caused. Finally THEY agreed to place a claim with THEIR insurance company.
We took 40 pictures of broken parts / hardware Inappropriate install practices. Poured dried concrete all over our driveways. Fence panels uneven, gates scraping concrete when they're opened. They owe us a charge card credit of $2,900.00.They accomplished over $3,200.00 in damages to our home.
FIND SOMEONE ELSE FOR YOUR FENCE NEEDS. XTREME FENCE IS AN EXTREME HEADACHE.

I recently hired Xtreme Fence in Cumming, GA to install a 200 foot fence around my swimming pool. I hired them because after receiving 5 quotes for the job Xtreme Fence quoted the price at half the price of the next lowest company!!!! I of course did not believe this could be possible, but I drove to Cumming, GA and visited the Xtremely Fence Company. I was greeted warmly and promptly given a tour of the facilities. I was very impressed with the massive fence building operation and large machinery they owned as well as the U.S. Patent hanging on the wall for their unique fence design. I felt more comfortable hiring them after this visit. Also, they did not require that pay them any money down before they installed the fence, so I knew if they did not do a good job I was not going to pay them. To make a long story short, Xtreme Fence installed my pool fence in one day (7:30 a.m. until dark) and they did an oustanding job. Each poste was aligned perfectly and if you look down the 100 foot run of fence it is impossible for the naked eye to detect the slightest misaligment. They had to core drill each hole for 34 posts and set them in hydrallic cement. The foreman of the crew was one of the most professional subcontractors I have seen and I have seen alot because I rehab house for a living! My fence job was completed on February 14, 2009 we love it! The owner of the company who I have only met one time (at the tour of the facility) asked me to write a truthful summary of my experience. I agreed only, after reading the comments of the gentleman from Grayson, GA. I could not believe that this could be the same business. I was not treated anything like this individual. They only explanation I have for the different experiences is maybe Xtreme Fence sent a different installer to my house than his. My fence was installed after this complaint and I can only conclude if any statements made in this earlier report are true the Xtreme Fence must have FIRIED the subcontractor who completed the substandard job. I did notice after reading this complaint that the gentleman from Grayson, GA did say that the owner of the business came to his house and admitted the job was not completed to his standards. I have never been able to get the PRESIDENT of a company to come to my house when I had a complaint. I also have never gotten a company who did such a poor job (as alleged) to ever admit it, much less offer to fix it. It appears from the complaint the gentleman from Grayson, GA lost his temper and will not let Xtreme Fence repair the fence or any damages, he just wants money. This seems a little disingenuous. In response to this one sided complaint, the only one I could find anywhere, I have 80 digital pictures of my fence job completed by Xtreme Fence and will be glad to send them to anyone who asks. Also, please call me directly for directions to my house to inspect the work done by Xtreme Fence for yourself, my number is 770-617-9120. You will see that I am a real person with a real fence.
