Yahoo Personals And Charles Robertson Scam This man uses the site to scam money from women Internet
I was defrauded of almost $1000.00 by a man who calls himself Charles Robertson and has a personals ad on Yahoo Personals. He meets, then travels out of town for a weekend and claims to have had his wallet stolen. Asks to borrow small amount of money till his new driver's license comes from CA. Runs into issues about not receiving license and asks again for small amount. Had his children with him and claims he needed to feed them. Promises repayment as soon as he can get to his bank account with proper ID..... but when I stopped lending money - he stops all communication.
This was reported to Yahoo Personals. They claim to be "investigating"..... but do nothing. The man is back on line on their site.
I was unwise to have been nice and lent money..... if he is using Personals sites to scam others - he should be stopped. If I had been warned of this type of scam - there is no way I would have ever, ever, ever lent the guy anything!
I dropped from Yahoo immediately and will never use another of these sites.
The man claims to be living in Mission Viejo, CA, but operates from a hotel in Las Vegas, NV.

This was reported to Yahoo Personals. They claim to be "investigating"..... but do nothing. The man is back on line on their site.
