To Whome it may Consern.
I am writing to you because i think its unfair whats happenin to me. I have been working for this companey called Yard Worx in Calgary Alberta for about 2-3 months... I never really had days off but out of the 2-3 months i have been doing snow removal for Jayson, I had to leave work early due to a emergency for my Son.
It was in December when i got let go with no warning and was waiting to see when we were going to be working. he never got back to me.. Payday was December 27 2013 When i was supposed to be paid my last cheque. He told me that he mailed it out that Friday. I have been trying to contact him, but he ignors my texts and calls.
I started getting a bit impaitent so i text him telling him that i still havent recieved the cheque, and to just cancell it and meet up with me to give me a new one.. He never got back to me. On Jan 9th 2014 i have recived it in the mail. no signature from him on the cheque. i msged him asking him to meet me to sighn it. He then got back to me and told me, " You said to cancell it, so i did and sent a new one". It is now the 16 of jan 2014 and i still havent been paid.
Jayson is very unorganized trying to run is contracted companey off Yard Worx. And to me this is unfair that i have been waiting a month just to get my money i worked hard for Please! someone help me.!!
I also still have a copy of the cheque that got sent to me.. It has the Date on it that i was supposed to recive it. And it shows that there is no signature on the bottom. I am still waiting for the replacement to come in.. I have asked him to just E transfer it to my account, and yet again nothing back from him. This need to be dealt with as i do not want to see the same happen to others..
