Beware of doing any business with Ye-Il International, aka Peal Guitars, a company based in Korea!  In January 2009 I placed a pre-paid sample order of 18 guitars totaling $1700 that were to be manufactured and shipped within 8 weeks or early March 2009.  After repeatedly stringing the shipment date, as of September 2009 the company and it's owner Mr. U.S. Kwon have failed to deliver any portion of the order and have stopped all communication.  They have payment in full from me, and I have nothing from them except broken agreements. This is an import scam to avoid.

Ye-Il International aka Peal Guitars and it's owner Mr. US Kwon are either blatant con artists, or else there business is failing to the extent that they can't deliver even a small order and can't be bothered to communicate with customers.  In any case, be extremely cautious in doing any business with them, and in no case pre-pay for an order!  I paid in advance using a wire transfer, and have lost all my money.  Please don't make the same mistake I did!

The initial contacts with Mr. Kwon were very positive and he was extremely responsive.  After I placed the order and made the wire transfer, he cordially followed up.  From February until July he became increasingly unresponsive until July when he ceased all communications whatsoever.  At this point to order is 6 months over due. He and is company engage in fraudulent business practices by taking orders and requiring the customer to pay in advance via T/T wire transfer, and then fail to fulfill the order at all.  This is blatant theft.

The order I placed in January 2009 was with Ye-Il International in Seoul, South Korea, via the compnay head Mr. U.S. Kwon, doing business as Peal Guitars.  The order was for 9 Peal acoustic guitars, and 9 Peal electric guitars,  which were supposedly going to be produced at Peal's China factory and shipped within 8 weeks (early March 2009). It is now 6 months overdue.

At some point they might have been a legitimate business but today they are a facade company operating as a sham. My strong advice to anyone is to not do any business with any of these entities, and in no event pre-pay for any order, as you will likely lose all your money like i did.

I realize that this is a classic import rip-off scam, but I fell for it none the less. Please exercise great due diligence in importing any goods from Asia or elsewhere, and in no case pre-pay unless you are prepared to lose the money.  Most of all, avoid the dishonest practices of Ye-Il International, aka Peal Guitars and it's owner Mr. U.S. Kwon...there are plenty of honest suppliers to chose from, so don't waste your time with this one.
