Yellow Freight YRC CHANGES CHARGES BY ALMOST DOUBLE AT DELIVERY AND HOLDS FREIGHT HOSTAGE Dallas Texas
Our company had a part shipped through Yellow Freight (YRC) and we verified the shipping charges before delivery. When the driver arrived at our buisness with the part the price had increased by $200 because they had added a RESIDENTIAL delivery charge......but this is not a residential area. It is a buisness.....not a house....but they "researched it" before delivery according to the lady we spoke with before we accepted delivery and they decided it was "residential" So because THEY decided it was a residence.....even though there is not home or house here.....they charged us $200 extra and said if we didn't pay it then they would keep the part.... I will never use Yellow Freight again. They used to be a good company to deal with, but not any more.
