Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I started a new Psychotherapy Practice last August. In setting up the business I took out an ad in my local phone book. A month after moving into the office I was sent a "Final Notice" with the dire warning that if I did not return the form with my signature my listing would be "omitted." I thought I was responding to the ad I had already approved. I signed it and mailed it in.

I then started receiving invoices for my ad. I paid for my ad in my local phone book ($240). I then started receiving invoices for $298. I didn't pay these invoices because I had no idea what I was being billed for.

It was only after I started receiving phone calls from the Law Offices of WC French, that the attorney/bill collector told me that I was paying for a National listing. I told him that I did not approve such a listing, didn't want a National Listing and had no use for a National Listing. My clients are not going to drive from Kansas to see me in North Carolina! He told me that I owed the company $298.

After doing some research on the web, I have found this website and others with accounts of those who have had the same experience with this company. The Better Business Bureauof Dallas has had 261 complaints so far with this company !

I am not going to pay for an ad I didn't want or a "contract" I inadvertently entered into under false pretenses. If this happens to you, don't pay. Report them to anyone who will listen. My next website will be the Attorney General of North Carolina

Be Prepared

#2Consumer Suggestion

Tue, June 26, 2007

As a new business, you're gonna be hit with all kinds of these types of scams. The only thing you can do is be prepared and pay very close attention to what you are doing. READ CAREFULLY. The next one will probably be "what type of copier or fax paper you've ordered in the past"? The internet ones will come next. The credit card machines will come after that. You'll get dozens of ads and offers a day in the mail, on the phone and by computer, so just be prepared. TO JUST SAY NO. The world is full of crooks.
