We are a roofing contractor in Northern California.
We began receiving customer calls from Southern California stating they found our contact information on yellowpagesonline.com.
We checked and did find our company listed without our request or notification and had us incorrectly listed as serving Southern California.
I contacted yellowpagesonline.com by email requesting they delete our listing.
I received a call this morning from them noting our desire to "cancel" our listing and confirming their willingness to do so, but insisted I would need to pay a $500+ invoice for their service to date.
When I explained, we did not purchase this listing and would not pay to be removed, their representative disconnected the call.
