I placed an order with Yellow Ridge DVD on August 31, 2010 for the Complete Collection of The Jeffersons TV series (seasons one through eleven), convinced by the information on its linked site(vrdvdcollections.com) that it was possible and legal to do so.

I was sent a confirmation email on September 8 with the tracking number of the merchandise.  I track the merchandise on Canada Post and noticed since the 10th of September until the 17th of September, the information posted by Canada Post stated that item has arrived in "destination" country, zip code 96782(Hawaii) I live in NY.

I contacted Yellow Ridge Customer support on September 18; I received an email reply from "Todd" on September 20 at 4:03am who has "just spoke with our customs broker" and that "they have cleared your package and its now with your local carrier."

On September 24, I contacted Yellow Ridge DVD to say I still have not received the merchandise I ordered. I also stated that the updated tracking information on Canada Post states that on 2010/09/18 item received at delivery office of destination country, zip code 96782(Hawaii); and on 2010/09/20 item successfully delivered, zip code 96701(Hawaii).

Contacted Yellow Ridge, told by "Todd" I was given wrong tracking number and he's not sure how it happened, and now he "will have to try and find the hard copy of" my tracking number.

The company is a rip-off!  I had already placed a complaint with my credit card company before I even emailed Yellow Ridge because I became suspicious...especially since coming across sites such as this with similar problems!

Word of thumb, people:  If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is!

yes hi i am going through the same exact experience right now except now they call themselves blackstar dvd! my story sounds basically identical to yours except i did receive my dvd and sent them back for a refund and did not get myrefund and now my emails are getting ignored. i was wondering if anything got resolved for you or you just took a loss of the money.
