Global Bag Co. Ltd is a bag manufacturer which I found on www.alibaba.com. This company is based in Yiwu city, Zhejiang province, China. As of 2014, they are showing as a "9th year gold supplier" on alibaba site. I paid them to manufacture 200 backpacks in March 2014, a small order to test quality. They charged me $10 per backpack which is expensive. I received the shipment by the end of June,  and found out 107 backpacks out of 200 have busted zippers, basically the zippers don't close. I tried everything I could think of to fix them but was unsuccessful, the problem appears that the zipper slide doesn't fit the zipper itself, basically the zipper slide is too big for the zippers.

I contacted this company and they did absolutely nothing but telling me to fix the zippers myself. I wanted to return the bags for a refund but they refused to pay returning shipping. I offered to take these bags to a tailor shop here in the US and have them fix the zippers, they refused to pay the repair costs. They gave me all kinds of excuses and had me wait weeks after weeks and now 2 months passed. I called the owner and she admitted they have several large orders that have the same problems right now, one order was 6,000 backpacks and another is 20,000 backpacks, their sales person told me they always have clients contact them for zipper problems in the past as well. This is what the owner said to me, "One of our customers ordered 20,000 backpacks and they have the same problems with the zipper, I told them to fix the zippers themselves and they're doing it, why can't you do it?" When I told her I tried but couldn't fix, she said contacting her for 100 defective backpacks is not worth her time.

If you happen to be a victim of this factory, I strongly recommend you to file a complaint against this company on alibaba.com, alibaba does provide support for claims, even though alibaba doesn't pay out of their pocket to cover your loss but they do keep the record on the account, enough compalints will result in suspension of the supplier's account. Also leave a negative feedback on their account as a warning to more potential buyers.

I lost about $1,500 considering the shipping costs, tax and US custom clearance. Beware of this company, I would strongly recommend against doing business with them.
