I agree with Logan, move on. I gave this company a shot as a sales repand while I believe they domean well, I found themdisorganized andunprofessional in their approach and management style. The owner's wife manages sales. I finally decided to quit when days went by without her replying to calls or emails. She was busy trying to build the company to 100 cities withina year, and once she said she was in the woods picking morel mushrooms with their investors ("We have to keep them happy."). The product at the time was threefold: Web site design, text messaging anda link to all your social media sites. Most businesses already have Web sites so don't need that, there areplenty ofFREE programs to link all your social media so why pay for that?So that leaves texting, which can be had for a lot less than what they charged. Businesses, there are financially and technologically smarter ways to go...sales reps, don't let them waste your time like I did.

There are numerous claims in the above posting that are explicitly untrue:
1. “The owner’s wife manages sales”. We have three partners who own our company. Our National Sales Director is NOT married to any of them.
2. “once she said she was in the woods picking morel mushrooms with their investors”. We have three partners who own the business and no investors. Needless to say, none of them make phone calls from the woods...
3. “The product at the time was threefold: Web site design, text messaging and a link to all your social media sites”. Our product is constantly growing in response to ever changing digital media outlets. That being said, during the time in question, we offered our clients a custom designed content management website, printed marketing materials, a custom SMS keyword, the ability to send out up to 4 SMS coupons to an unlimited number of customers weekly, a single dashboard that will automatically update a client’s MySpace profile, Facebook fan page, Blogger Blog, Twitter profile, YouTube account, Yelp profile and FourSquare account instantly and simultaneously, email marketing, a on-line payment gateway and shopping cart, and provide real-time analytics on custom-designed HTML widgets, their website, and SMS and email campaigns, among many other features. That is much more than a threefold product.
4. “Most businesses already have websites”. I am sure that both consumers and small business owners know how untrue that is. The fact is most small businesses, our target clients, do NOT have content-management, custom-designed websites.
5. “there are plenty of FREE programs to link all your social media”. Anyone can do a Google search and will not find one FREE program that instantly and simultaneously update all of the social media platforms that our product does. As previously mentioned, YourAreaCode's technology does much more than simply link social media platforms.
