Zynga has ripped me off of 20 dollars.  I have written six letters demanding the stolen money be returned.  My minor son used my credit card without my knowledge or permission.  They have called it a "mistake," but say they cannot reverse the charges.  I have told them that it is a crime to keep stolen money.  They do not care.  I am calling the police tomorrow and I hope they cuff the agent and the owner.

I believe that you may have attended a church at some time in your life, however you are not a representative of Christiandom, nor are you even well versed enough to realize that God hates a prideful man/woman.

If you were a God fearing follower you would have already posted a rebuttal to your own post repenting for calling someone "dumb as a stump".  Are you not familiar with Matthew 5:22? The later half of the verse states "But whoever says, You fool! shall be in danger of hell fire."

If you are truly a follower, then I am sorry.  I am sorry that you feel compelled to tell others about your beliefs as you so proudly attempt to raise yourself up by stepping on others.  

How many people do you think read your response and said, "Yeah, THAT is what I want to surround myself by.  If only I HAD made it to church this week (as I been feeling compelled to go lately), then I could have found the compassion of Christ that this "licensed minister" exhibits.

If you read this and feel need to justify rather than repent, then please seek the council of other true believers (not in your church), and pray about it for two weeks daily.  If I am wrong, then two weeks later you can tell me.

I don't think that your reasoning is out of line (regarding the issue that you responded to).  In fact I probably would agreed with you, but then you had to ruin it all with your Pride.

I understand that you say that Zynga "knows" your son did the transaction.

I understand that you believe Zynga owes you something.

Since it is a "credit" card, you are responsible for your son's actions, if he is a minor. Why would they even consider reimbursing you, yet they authorized it, your son did it, so why in the world wouldn't you retrieve it from him? What are you teaching him? Heck, for all we know, you are purposely showing him just how one may try to defraud another. Your offspring got the benefit. You pay for it and make him pay you for it.

 

Zynga personnel have nothing to do with the transaction unless there would have been a denial on the purchase by your lender. The entire system is automated and he did it online, not even over the phone, I would put a $1 bet on. So, whose membership was he signed in on with facebook or myspace or other site that uses Zynga?

Honestly, sir, I'm an awesome guy that loves people. But your ignorance is more than that. You sound dumb as a stump, yet I had no problems with your typing and spelling skills, the grammatical presentation seemed well-versed, just not well thought-out. So, go ahead. Explain to me how they owe you.

So, just who's asking, I am a licensed minister of a non-denominational church over twenty years, have over 23 years experience as a bank operations specialist.

Let's see......I am a participant through facebook and play Zynga's Texas Hold 'em. I have been playing for about four months. I have had my purchase requests denied a couple of times by my financial institution. Many financial institutions have a block on Zynga purchases even if the transaction is a valid one, which at least 95 percent are.

The customer usually has to contact the financial institution and request a temporary allowance to authorize (a lifting of the block) for their purchases to be accepted (my bank allows a 24 hour window for a transaction to be attempted after I request the temporary negation of the rejections.)

Yes, there is a lot of attempted fraud (just as your son has fraudulently used your credit account.)

So, to abide by the rules of this website, the required participation:

"SIR, TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN IN THE FUTURE, I SUGGEST THAT YOU CONTACT YOUR FINANCIAL LENDING PROVIDER OF YOUR CREDIT ACCOUNT AND REQUEST A 'BLOCK' ON ANY ZYNGA PURCHASES. SINCE YOUR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION HAS ALREADY PROCESSED ONE OF 'YOUR' TRANSACTIONS FOR THE RETAILER, THE FINANCIER HAS ALL THE INFORMATION THEY NEED, EXCEPT WHAT THEY NEED FROM YOU, WHICH THEY EVIDENTALLY HELD YOU ACCOUNTABLE TO PAY THEM BACK, AND I BET THEY PRAY YOU DON'T TRY TO STIFF THEM.........

 

You know, if your business had customers like you that they fund debt for and don't have the common sense that is "common" in understanding throughout the vast majority of this citizenry....Oh, yeah. How old is your son? And my goodness, please go talk to one of the friends that you have that really is intelligent. Please, go ask him if you're thinking correctly.

 

Now that I have done that duty, I am going to ask you again to help me understand how you can possibly think as you have presented here.  PLEASE. I promise to give any relatively-logical, ethical, misunderstanding, accidental excuse you give "explanation, excust me". Yes, I am not being supportive of your felt loss. Make your son's backside feel it.......not by hitting him. Put his butt to work.

If you were my brother, I'd tell you how ashamed I was that you would even be capable of actually putting this "bearing false witness" out there. (In all honesty, though, you may be very intelligent and just somehow missed out or somehow - do not realize what you are saying, maybe?)

 

And to the one responder to this original posting before me ..... Okay. Speaking of mistakes, though I honestly do see your attempt too be of some...something to this thread originator...Did you realize that you said something like 'report the card stolen' or something? This is not right. You are suggesting, I believe, that if he does this, then the credit card company would now be liable for his foolish denial of liability. Why would you suggest he lie for $20 dollars. My goodness. what are YOU trying to teach his kid?

 

Ignorance is not bliss, my friends. Consider having someone else read your writings before you post on the world's pages. At least read it aloud to yourself. Unfortunately, I believe that out of the only three writings on this site at this time, mine is the only one that is correct.

The mistake in question is that your son used the credit card fraudulently.  I'm afraid that most of the options available to you will involve pressing charges home against your son to make the matters against Zynga stick.

You might have to report the card stolen to your credit card company for them to refund anything.  Than the credit card company can work through matters with the merchant in question.
