 Last January (2021) was my first appointment with Dr. Edalat.  The most recent appointment was in October 2021.

  She did a crown for me and it has never fit right nor does it look like any other tooth I have. She quoted me one price and then charged my Care credit card over 200.00 more than the quoted price.

   They asked if I wanted a sedation pill before the procedure and I said "yes". I asked them to avoid anything extra that I do not HAVE to have done since I am paying out of pocket (through Care credit, no discount) and only working part-time.  I also answer yes to the gas.

  The next time I go in after the procedure to get my crown the receptionist tells me that the cost of the gas was 100.00 and that the ONE LITTLE PILL was 200.00.  I could not believe my ears!  She should have told me beforehand, I cannot afford a 200.00 pill or gas for 100.00.  I was stuck with the cost though, and very untrusting now.   By the way... I asked for detailed billing recently (since they do not give you a receipt at the time of appointment) and they ended up charging me 200.00 for the gas and 200.00 for that one pill. What the heck is wrong with these people?

     I told the dentist I was not happy with the crown and she told me I am stuck with it.  

  Then she did a partial for me.  It didn't fit and it was horrible looking. It was shorter than the rest of my teeth by far. I asked her to please send it back to have it fixed. She reluctantly did and then the next time it didn't fit at all.  It doesn't fit at all. She tried to tell me I am stuck with it and she told me it is now cutting into her money because I want it sent back.  She argues and argues with me and said I was unrealistic. Made me so mad that I left.

       I have been to Two different Dentists to get them to make a dentist plan for me with estimates. I wanted to see if they mention the messed up Crown and the Partial (total $2,700 for those two things) and sure as I am writing this they both said they need to be redone,  I have the paperwork from both dentists telling me the bridge and the crown was HORRIBLE  work and must be replaced.  I want this dentist to give me what I paid her for in full.  There is no way I can pay a new dentist to replace the bad work that she did.

      There is even more harm that was done when I went to this dentist. She took off the backside (like 1/2 a tooth that was totally healthy and said she needed to do that to dock the partial on. It cut my mouth for a month while I waited for the partial to come in. Then she didn't even use it for that. They patched the hole and whatever she used came out within a week's time. Then the Arlington dentist had the nerve to tell me that she never tried to fill that tooth back and I was like yes, you did. I was there, I remember this very well. So then she tells me it was a cavity and that is why they took off half the good tooth. The two dentists I went to last week told me there was never a cavity in that tooth.  

    I want a refund more than I want her to work on my mouth again but I would be okay with it if she fixed the crown and the partial... to where I can use it.

     A couple of days ago she sent recertified mail telling me I should find another dentist because after 30 days she will no longer work on me. Like I would ever go back for more, seriously. Just give me what I paid for so I can put this horrible experience behind me. I won't give up until one or the other happens. This is just so wrong! How can she sleep at night?
