Purco fleet services says the are collecting for damages to a rental car that was rented through avis. After my human resource contacted avis they said no claim for scratches or damage to the vehicle that was rented has been filed. now they are wanting to put it into collections and mark it on my credit report.

What this renter and his HR department don't understand is that Avis corporate will not have any information about damages to a vehicle belonging to a franchisee. Mr. Romine rented from a franchise location, but the call went to corporate (confirmed by the phone number provided by renter).
