Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Back in September of 2022 my contractor hired Cloud Carpet One to install some carpets I had purchased to replace existing damaged ones in a residential.

My contractor and I were looking to get this done smoothly without any issues and as such we paid Cloud Carpet One $4000 up front and provided all prep and logistics labor to them at our expense. We also had installation plans, photographs and details laid out and sent to them ahead of time so their crew would be able to perform their job with ease.

I had spent over $35,000 to ensure that this carpet install would go smoothly all Cloud Carpet One had to do was provide a crew with the expert flooring install. Cloud Carpet had to cancel the original scheduled install land push things over a week which we agreed even though it would cause my business and work a huge loss in income.

On the second install attempt, a carpet crew did show up but they had no clue where or what to do. I had to rush on site to re teach and explain all the plans and details. Their crew’s lead had no clue and called their office to ask for the plans which he should have been provided to from the office prior to starting. Originally, they had claimed they could do the job with flawless and “no visible seams”. After a few minutes later I believe he received the plans and then he had complained it was “too much to complete in one day”.

A long story short, they abandoned the job and called my contractor an hour later demanding more money. I was also informed that Cloud Carpet One’s employees had made some libelous and slanderous remarks about me which were at shock to me and totally fraudulent and unfounded.

Eventually my contractor and a friend took over the project at an additional unlawful expense to allow Cloud Carpet One to bring in a new carpet installation crew for a third attempt to finish what should have been done on the second attempt. The third crew did a poor job and did not honor their guarantee to properly install the carpet without any issues.

There were visible seams and incorrectly aligned patterns that will require additional carpet to be re-purchased and re-installed at an additional expense.

Cloud Carpet One has refused to return any of our calls or messages requesting for a remedy.

Continuing Libel/Slander with contractor collaboration and breech of contract/good faith

2023-02-25 We have received updated information from various agencies investigating this matter that it appears the contractor (DOSH Contracting of Las Vegas) originally assisting Carpet One Cloud may be involved in perpetuating libel and slander against customers.

A letter touting to be the owner of DOSH now claims customers made "racist" remarks to hired installers from Carpet One Cloud which are untrue and can not be backed up by any evidence nor any specifics of what the allegid remarks or behavior was.

Further, a frauduent narriative was made by the Contractor which is disputed by workers and homeowners as well as other witnesses on scene, the frauduent narriative was used as an excuse for Carpet One Cloud to bail on the project and take money as well as charge additional fees which were given to Carpet One Cloud in good faith.

if the homeowners were "racist" then why would the homeowners in good faith pay up front as well as cover additional fees and assist in physical labor to the installers on site???

Update: The job to this date has NOT been completed by Carpet One Cloud and $27313.15 is outstanding in dispute which was the amount allocated in good faith by companies backing the project.

We have also further evidence that DOSH Contracting (or someone posing as such) as well as Carpet One Cloud may be engaging in continued libel/slander which is costing entites additional losses on the work project at the properties at Greenfield Estates.
