Daniel H Spriggs of The Perdido Bay Medical Group in Lillian (Alabama), appeared grumpy, disgruntled, and disinterested throughout my appointment. He seemed to have trouble reading and comprehending basic medical records from competent doctors and specialists, and had to leave the room in order to attempt to do so. When finally returning, he still had to ask for my assistance in interpreting standard medical records and did so in a very rude way as if he was annoyed. Whenever I asked him even the most basic of medical questions, he would struggle to produce any type of answers and even said that he needed a week to figure some things out. He included multiple lies and omitted several relevant facts on the medical record he produced and discredited other doctors and medical specialists in the process, which I found to be both unprofessional and disrespectful. He observed high blood pressure during the appointment, yet was so negligent that he failed to treat or prescribe anything even as basic as high blood pressure medication. His general appearance of incompetence and lack of focus caused me to visit the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners & Medical Licensure Commission’s website (www.albme.gov) to see if this family physician even had a valid medical license. The following location (https://abme.igovsolution.net/Bwi5LBbu/ftpupload/Public_Actions/171284.pdf) showed that his license had previously been reprimanded and that he had been fined. Trying to establish a new primary care physician with this individual turned out to be a complete waste of time and money and a very unpleasant experience.
