The Owner is a Carlos L. and the lead mechanic at CLS Auto Service also goes by Carlos. A Flores Tires & Auto Service (Universal City ) and their sister company, CLS Auto Service (Schertz).

On or about Wed. 06/30/2021 I had made an appointment through the primary shop owner, "Carlos L." at A Flores Tires and Auto Service in Universal City. TX for diagnosis and repairs to my classic and fully restored 1965 Mustang GT-350 Tribute.  It was lossing its water and antifreeze after the car would run for 3 to 5 minutes and I wanted to know where it as leaking from and how to repair it from leaking.

After showing the scheduler for the company, a man that went by "J.R" photos of my car and my concern for it being kept inside at all times for protection from the elements, "J.R." told me to take the car to their sister location, CLS Auto Service located in Schertz, TX because they would be able to keep the car inside and secure.  I paid $75 to have the car towed from my homw in Schertz to the Schertz repair facility because I didn't want to risk damage to the engine by driving the car there.  Instead they parked the car in front of their shop saying that they would clear out the shop during the day and then pull my car inside as promised.

The next day I noticed the car was sitting outside of their location throughout the day and it was pouring down rain.  I asked the lead mechanic who also is named Carlos, same as owners name what was going on he told me he had no idea what arrangements the owner or "J.R." had made with me and they had him slammed with repairs that were promised before mine.  The car sat outside during the days and as far as I know they pulled it in before they would close and go home but nothing was being done to my car and the fully restored and detailed classic Mustang was now covered in bird crap and rain that we were getting daily since it was taken to this shop.

Finally, on Wed. 07/07/2021, a week after the car was taken to them their receptionist calls me up and says the job would start at $1,500 but she didn't know how high the repairs would go until they removed parts to check them out and once they removed parts they had to replace them whether or not they were bad or not.  I immediately called thew owner also named "Carlos L." and he started hollaring that the car had been repaird before and was missing nuts and bolts and basically his mechanics had no clue as to what all the issues were?

I reminded him I simply brought the car in to determine why it was losing water and antifreeze and not to do a complete overahaul of the engine.  This was and is a cooling issue as the engine runs strong, was rebuilt in 2018 and has strong compression with no issues with the engine.  He then told my I had to get the car out of his Schertz location and told me he would even pay for the towing to wherever I wanted it to go so I made arrangements for the car to go to a shop in San Antonio, TX that specializes in classic cars and he said he would take care of it the next day, Thursday 07/08/2021.

I drove by the shop in Schertz 2 to 3 times on Thursday and noticed the car sitting outside in the rain once again all day so I called the lead mechanic "Carlos" and he said he didn't know anything about having the car towed to another shop.  On Friday, 06/09/2021 the receptionist called me and told me the owner wasn't going to pay for any towing and it was up to me to get the car towed at my expense.

In the end, I now have $155 in total towing costs in getting this car out of the care of this horrible Auto Repair Service operation and to a shop that can hopefully diagnose the issues and make the repairs without all the drama and lack of knowledge as this organization.  STAY CLEAR OF THIS OPERATION AN ALL THEIR MECHANICS NAMED AKA "CARLO'S"
