Fountainbleu Hotel Miami Fountainbleu Hotel Bain and Switch Room 'Upgrade' and LOUD Pool Music Miami FL
I booked a Jr Waterfront Suite with OceanView to reward myself for a long month at work, for some rest and relaxation for Art Basel. This was a $1400 room / $$1600 with taxes.
When I arrived the front desk girl told me I was being 'upgraded' to a higher floor, (assumed it was the same view). But it was not an ocean front room, it was over on the side, looking at the other building.
But they put me over the pool party speakers and even on the 14th floor, the noise was SO LOUD I could barely think, could not rest, and it was the worst ghetto music playing at full blast.
The front desk and the front desk manager (Alyssa) didn't seem to care, would not offer to move me to the room I paid for, and would not offer any type of hotel concession or credit. Alyssa should be promote to the 'Sales Prevention Manager' because I won't stay here again, and have been a great repeat client over 10 yrs.
The WORST hotel experience I've ever had, and they don't even care.
AVOID -- Everybody is saying this hotel has gone downhill and it's barely a shadow of it's former self.
So disappointing. It's nearly 6PM, the sun is going down, and the hideus music is still blasting at full volume.
