I chose Good Greek to move my furniture from 2 10x20 foot storage units and one 10x20 about half full. Frank Fatigati ( [email protected]) the owner,  never offered a free written estimate as noted on his site. Over the phone, he quoted me $1700 -1800 to move my furniture to my home. He said it would take 6-8 hours. I also contacted Tiger moving, they said it would take 3 trucks and crews to move the furniture in the same amount of time for $2370. I thought Good Greek was the better option, I found out much later their estimates and charges were very misleading and dishonest at best.

I met the moving crew at the storage units. They looked over the units and confirmed they could get all units on two trucks. I signed a form I was told was standard giving them permission to move my furniture. The owner also had me sign a damage waiver. It took them 6-7 just hours to load the trucks. Unloading was a nightmare. It was late into the evening and the second truck was almost unloaded when the owner tells me the charges are going to be close to $4000!! I reminded him he quoted $1800 for the job. They never got all of my furniture on the trucks as the crew and owner promised. There was still less than half a unit remaining.

He offered to pick up that furniture in the next few days for $500! They put the beds in the bedrooms but never set one up. They put the 3 piece sofa in the living room but didn't put the legs on the middle section. They connected the dryer but not the washer. They put all the boxes in the garage and I had to hire someone to move them into respective rooms. He charged for packing material but he never mentioned it to me and I never agreed to it.. He asked me to order a two pizzas for his crew when they got to the house and he would reimburse me. I never got any money.

I could have completed this move for $2400 in a reasonable amount of time if I dealt with an honest, reputable mover like Tiger. Good Greek is a scam and Frank Fatigati a price gougers at best. Now he's telling me I misrepresented the number of units in our conversation. He says his estimate was based on two units and neither were completely full. Well the old saying goes...figures lie and liars figure.

The department of consumers affairs is investigating this move.  When the crew/owner arrived at the storage units, they saw exactly what I had. They could have canceled the move because it was not as described. Or  FrankFatigati [email protected]), 1102 OLD STATE ROAD, SIMPSONVILLE, SC. could have quoted a price based on what  he saw. If he quoted $4000, I would have canceled. I might have to move one more time, it will be Tiger.Moving.
