GXi Outdoor Power LLC Z-Beast Finish Mower by DEK Would not repair broken and unusable mower. Clayton North Carolina
I bought the Z-Beast mower on 5-15-2021. Used it for 5 hours and the belts shredded. Brought it to the authorized repair shop for repair. Learned that the warranty does not cover belts. i.e. $98.00 repair cost for me. Used the mower for about another 6 hours and the starter went out.
Brought back to the authorized repair shop for repair. The mower stayed in the shop for 10 weeks. Got home, tried to do some mowing, could not start. My brother came and adjusted the choke cable and it started. However, the steering was very "messed" up.
Could not make the mower run in a straight line. Found another unauthrorized repair shop. Paid $500 for that repair and was finally told by this new repair shop that they could not make the blades engage and would need another chunk of money to repair.
Many requests through the GXi website for someone to call for discussion resulted in no call back.
This machine is now unusable with only 13 hours of mowing on it. The manufacturer only spoke with me twice and only to let me know that 1) the belts are not warranted and then 2) they would not take the machine back.
