December 28th 2022 I made a reservation through a go to for motel 6 in Scottsdale arizona. I'd stayed there several times beginning early last year with my brother and of all the motel 6 is in this area was the best one. However it wasn't before too long that they themselves showed the same disrespect and disregard for their guest as every other low-level Budget hotel in Phoenix arizona. It's not that my experiences with motel 6 have been pleasant, by far they have not been. Besides them being filthy disgusting and full of vagabonds and varmint of the two-legged variety. People who don't give a d**n about their guests but more just want to make a dollar and then when they're done is throw you out and threaten you by calling the police and not listen to anything you have to say. Instigating situations with people that they don't know who they're dealing with.

And their end all is to call the police like the police could really do anything about it anyway even if I wanted to squat there's nothing by law that the police could do to remove me only a judge can do that. that being said though this wasn't one of those cases. We had stayed there a couple weeks prior to that is my girlfriend and I who are both veterans and homeless at this present time. Thanks to people like the people we trusted and us vets. Another subject. So we do what we have to do and occasionally we have shelter. And this is one of those times that we did what we had to do and we have shelter.

However upon arrival I'm told that she cannot stay because she's been put on the do not rent list or better known as dnr. When I asked the reason why of course like all the them like extended Stay nobody knows the reasons why. Except that she cannot be there. And when I asked why then the girl told me behind the front desk rather rudely. Because she refused to leave. When I brought it up to the young lady that if she had been put on the DNR list for not leaving then I would have been put on the DNR list for not leaving. And this is where the snafu comes in. This is where the indiscrepancy comes in. Because they thought it was her alone with her service animal not me in there. the lady kept banging at the front door as rudely as it is. Did not know that it was me and her in there she never bothered to look at the books so she assumed it was just her and put her on the DNR list. Which brings my point of the fact that it's a lie. Because if she was on the DNR list then I most certainly would have been on the DNR list but I was not. The point I'm making is this person simply lied. Because she had some sort of problem with my girlfriend when my girlfriend's actually quite timid and non-confrontational. She wanted to put her on the do not rent list. Which is against the law when it comes to the hotel industry. Because according to the hotel laws in Arizona the grounds to put someone on the DNR list are as follows.

"Reasonableness depends upon the individual circumstances, but in the context of a hotel, it would be reasonable to refuse to rent a room to a guest who is engaging in bad behavior or illicit activities or whose admission would somehow interfere with the operation of the hotel or guest safety.

Accordingly, whether a hotel can justify barring a guest from future stays will involve the subjective judgment of the hotel staff and when subjective judgment is involved, reasonable minds may differ and the guest may be able to assert a claim"

If a guest is that disruptive, then the hotel should carefully document all of the guest’s complaints and the hotel’s attempts to resolve them

And quote. Because you cannot put someone on a DNR list for not leaving because the only person who can make them leave is a judge. They have to go before a court and get a judge's order and then it could be enforced to have them removed if they wanted to squat but they cannot themselves make them move. Because they're called transient housing or transient shelter not hotels in the state of arizona. Therefore for a innkeeper to deny a person stay is a violation. And one that motel 6 is now guilty of as well. and as we speak being pursued. I'm sick and tired of these wehotels in this state disrespecting their guests and thinking they can get away with it thinking that we're all ignorant to the laws and that we don't know what we're talking about. I warned her that I was going to stir things up if she did that because I needed to get to the hospital because of my medical condition and that I needed that room for my girlfriend and her service animal her being 30% disabled that way it enabled me to be able to be free to go to the hospital because I'm more than likely was going to be admitted. The fact that I told this young lady that me being in the car is my clots could kill me did not make her change her mind. To add insult to injury after I left I was placed on the DNR list as well. Unacceptable motel 6.
