Bought a 2013 Harley fat boy, not my first Harley. Ran the bike for 30 seconds in a dark dealership showroom.

Trucked the motorcycle home 700 miles.......

Bike ran half a mile and would not run again for 10 days, dead battrey, fouled spark plugs, bad gas, 5 crushed, and broken wires in handle bars as repaired ny selling dealer, bald tires less tha 1/16 of an inch, broken tail light, we suspect the speedomiter has been changed as well to reflect less miles on motorcycle.

Seller at nationwide said motorcycle was a one wner from calif, itle say 3 previous owners, Arizona title filled out 3 previous owners plus the original owner.

These guys are bad if their lips are moving they are lying about something.

I will be taking them to court for damages, fruad, and punitive damages

Your refusal to answer the question confirms that the seller did not violate the terms of the written agreement. Sure, you're embarrassed that you overlooked the worn tires and broken taillight but at least now you have a better understanding of the definition of an as-is sale.

To avoid further embarrassment and court costs do yourself a favor… Google Parol Evidence Rule. You will learn that evidence not contained within the written contract is inadmissible in court.

Enjoy your new bike.

It is as OBVIOUS as the rising sun, this person FAILED to check out this motorcycle BEFORE buying it!  The FACT that he/she blames them for bald tires, is PROOF POSITIVE of this FACT.  Anybody with half a brain will check out a used vehicle BEFORE they agree to buy it.  This person DID NOT USE COMMON SENSE and FULLY KNOWS THIS.  Hence, they blame the seller to deflect the REAL ISSUE HERE...their FAILURE TO USE COMMON SENSE!

Its nothing more than the blame game personified!  They will argue with you till hell freezes over because they WILL NOT ADMIT THEIR LACK OF COMMON SENSE!  You know the type...to them ITS ALWAYS SOMEBODY ELSE'S FAULT.  This person can very easily take a step back and fully realize their mistake and learn from it, but no, they will continue to go back and forth with anyone who dares to point out what the world sees very clearly here...FAILURE TO USE COMMON SENSE TO CHECK OUT THE VEHICLE BEFORE PURCHASE!  You won't get a straight answer, Coast, because in doing so, this buyer will need to admit their mistake.

These flippers, did a poor job of repairs they hid a  main wiring harness major problem, start, stop, turn sinnal.. Wet outside in  lathrop as many times it is, ride a bike on wet pavement with bald tires really, what a couple of clowns, broken tail light, speedomiter has been switched out there is a date code on the part....  and it is 2015 on a 2013 bike, that the state of Calif will determine, failing to disclose safty problems, lighting, and start and stop wiring really, thats why we ar going to court  very soon.

SEE YOU IN COURT.....................

It was foolish to purchase the bike without first taking it for a test ride.

The worn tires and broken taillight were not hidden. This indicates your failure to perform a basic inspection of the bike prior to purchase. Your claim of a dark showroom is not an acceptable excuse.

Mileage is recorded by an odometer, not a speedometer.

Did the seller violate any terms of the written contract? If not, your case will never see the inside of a courtroom. The key word is 'written' because the terms of an agreement do not extend beyond the four corners of a contract.

Let’s just focus on ONE POINT...TIRES. Those tires were FULLY VISIBLE to you and YOU didn’t even bother to check them out! You didn’t even check out anything, did you? You mention nothing about a warranty. We guess what, Einstein, if you didn’t get a warranty, you bought this thing AS IS and all repairs are YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!

Of course, this would have been made very clear in the paper work that it was AS IS or came with a warranty but it’s a really good bet you didn’t bother to READ what you agreed to BEFORE you agreed to it anyway! Of course, it’s now time for the blame game. Blame the lighting inside the building! What a laugh and how STUPID is this???
