My 3 year old Whirlpool refrigerator stopped cooling so I went on line to find a appliance repair and found next day service so I went on line to apply for service. Puls Home Services called me back and did send a person the next day, so far so good. The guy that came looked at my refrigerator and said he could not fix it he was more of a handyman. He charged me $92 and I paid with PayPal account. Then he tried to sign me up for a home warranty program and I refused, he keep trying to talk me into it but I keep refusing told him I was not interested at all.
He finally left and I called a real technician to come out. I was unhappy they charged me $92 for the call but I did tell them to come out, money down the drain. A while later I received an email from PayPal that Puls was charging another $29 to my account for a monthly service contract, I immediately called to Puls to protest and was told no problem they would cancel the service contract, The next email from PayPal was an additional $47 charge for cancelation of contract. I called an was told there was nothing they could do that's their policy.
Now I have the $92 and additional $76.34. PayPal dispute would not reverse the charge because Puls told the I authorized the service contract, They are a total scam and I advise you keep away from them at all cost. The refrigerator had a bad condensing coil which was covered under warranty by Whirlpool I had to pay $160. service call and it took 2 months to get it fixed.
