Sarasota Palms Sarasota, FL Bruce (MGR) Bruce took my money for a rental to be used by my family. After he had my money in his hand he turned into a different person. He even made comments about my wife after he saw her at the pool. This guy is over 70 years old. He would not stand a chance of even talking to her. She even had to tell him to leave her alone. I learned the very first night that they do not have enough parking spaces because when we got home at around 1am I had to park 5 buildings down from my home. My condo became full of bugs the first week I was there. Bruce sent the pest control over to spay one time. After that I went to the store and bought my own pest spayer.
The internet is full of stories about Bruce keeping deposits after you move out. As much as $2,500. When you are moving out Bruce will not check your condo. Instead he says he has 15 days to do so. One lady said she had her carpets cleand and used touch up paint but Bruce would not go look at her condo. She left a vacuum and cleaning supplies in her kitchen. She dropped by with 2 days left of her lease to discover all her paint and cleaning supplies were gone.
She saw people ripping up her carpet and painting the walls even though the lease was still in her name. She went to Bruce's office only for him to tell her to leave the property. There are many more comments like this on the main Sarasota Palms website. So if you rent a 1 year lease for $1,700 a month don't forget about the $2,000 deposit you will lose when you move out.
