There are no other electricity providers available to me. So I had no other choice to start service with SDG&E in Septemer 2019 if I want electricity in my home. Since then, the bill has been progressively increasing with occaisional dips. In November of 2019, when I saw my bill jump only 20 dollars. When I contacted them they informed me that the increase is due to having an analog meter. By this time I had already replaced the bulbs in my home with energy efficient LED bulbs. Centrail air/heating was used rarely through the winter yet the bill never went back to those September / October levels. 

In February of 2020 I pressed them again. The person informed me that based on what he is seeing and what I described my energy usage is surprisingly low. They did not provide any details as to what the tiers / caps were, what days of the month my meter is being read, or any other details to help me logically understand how they arrive at these numbers. All I was told is that my meter is read every other month so one month they make an estimate and then the following month actually read the meter and base the bill on what the arbitrary cap/tier is. No wiggle room, no consideration for last month's under estimate. 

As filing this on 10/21/2020 I received a letter from SDG&E congratulating me on how little energy I am using every month. I tried to resolve this with them over the phone and was treated like dirt. If I could go with another energy company I would have dumped service with them and moved on. Since that can't be done, they are stuck with me. It is my hope that something changes so this ripoff can stop
