Their insured hit my car while I was stopped at a red light.  It was a 24 year old probably texting.  My car is a leased 2020 Porsche with 5000 miles on it.  State Farm told me to take it to any shop of my choice.  The dealer said there was only 1 certified collision shop in the county.  I took my car there and now State Farm refuses to pay the shop because they say their rates are too high.  But they won't tell me where there is another repair shop or how they decided the rates were too high.  In fact, the adjuster just hung up on the phone when I asked these questions.

This is the same way they refuse to pay for quality lawyers and only hire the cheap ones to defend you.  In any event, I am now forced to come out of pocket to get my car repaired because they refuse to do so.  So State Farm is making me a victim once again.  So much for being a good neighbor.  And by the way, the difference is $1600, less than 10% of the damage caused by a 24 year old not paying attention.  Luckily she hit a stopped car and didn't go through the intersection and kill a family.
