My deposit of $100 cash was not returned by the studio 6/motel 6 location at 2520 E Lucky Lane Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Upon checking out on 6/19 they said the deposit had disappeared and they had no idea where it was. The lady was smirking the whole time like haha I'm trying stealing your money. They where looking/pretending to look for it for a long time even though I told them I had to catch a bus soon and that caused me to miss my bus. The price for the bus ticket was $127 and it's non-refundable. I need the $100 to be refunded to me asap and I'm also asking to be refunded $127 for the bus ticket. If I don't get a refund I will be filing a small claims court complaint asking for more than $227 because I had to stay in another motel overnight since I missed my bus and also had to buy another ticket etc.

When they where looking/pretending to look for my deposit they declined to return a deposit to another guest checking out (that stated he had stayed there many times before) because there was a tiny stain on the top bed sheet that they claim he did, but he said that it was already there when he checked in and I could tell he was telling the truth... anyway a tiny stain on the top bed sheet is not worth $100. It can't just be me and this other guest this location is trying to steal deposits from. This location has started making lame excuses to steal people's deposits or straight up just stealing them saying they have disappeared. If they had checked my room they would have seen I left the room neat and clean as usual, but they probably would of tried to claim I damaged or stained something also even though I never have.. I have stayed there before, but I will never do so again of course and I will probably never stay at any other motel 6/studio 6.

It's really sad that this motel is stealing money from (steady) customers just to make another $100 per customer and of course losing these customers after the theft. They will be going out of business... it's just a matter to time.

I contacted corporate management at motel 6 and told them what happened and they didn't care.
