Theodore Wayne López Groomed someone I know save your children. Hanover park Illinois
I should start by saying at the time this took place this man was 27 and the victim in question was 16. This full grown man who was engaged with two children at the time. Was knowingly engaging in a romantic and sexual relationship with a minor. He was using his connections with law enforcement. That he made through his time in the military at our local police department. When this was discovered. A secondary phone was discovered amongst his possessions. Which contained hundreds of photos of incredibly young women all naked. That phone was turned over to local law enforcement at the time nothing was done. He also has a history of threatening to hurt or even kill other women. I once overheard him on the phone talking to one of his many baby mama's. " if you even try and not let me see my child I'll find you and shoot you in the face. I have a shotgun in my closet and I'm trained. " I know how unstable and dangerous this man is protect your children and loved ones. He comes off as charming in the beginning but he's nothing more than a unstable abusive narcissist. I honestly believe if he didn't hide behind his service record and make friends with local cops. He would have been arrested by now.
He also has a history of stealing from companies at least two auto parts stores he used to work for. Have pursued him legally for theft of merchandise from their stores. Also he was previously wanted out of North Carolina for fleeing the scene of a crime. I know this because he gave my phone number to the victim in place of his. They called to do a follow up investigation and got me instead of course I knew nothing about it so it ended there. I do know it involved a minor and substances and sexual assault was the accusation.
At the time he was supposed to be doing his active duty training in North Carolina even though he resides in another state. He left his training early however he didn't arrive back until two days later than his itinerary. So for 48 hours his whereabouts were undetermined when police showed up looking for him. To this day I don't know what evidence he disposed of or what he was doing during that time.
I should note that even though this man receives military benefits he was only a reservist who never saw combat. In fact he spent more time making up excuses for why he couldn't go to his monthly duties than attending. He basically rode out his one and only contract doing less than the bare minimum just to collect benefits. I'm confused on how that happened because I saw his original paperwork it said dishonored discharge do to attendance issues. Yet a couple weeks later he came by claiming He got his amended paperwork in the mail. This time it said medical discharge on it. When I brought it up he said the original paperwork was for a different lopez in his unit. That this was the correct paperwork and he used that to apply for housing and other military benefits.
