Walmart Automotive They do not honor tire warranty Shakopee Minnesota
I purchased four new tires in December 27, 2022. On March 15, one of the tires blew up. The tire was totally bald. The other rear tire was almost identical. I have less that 3,000 miles on the tires and I paid $ 700.00 for four of them. Walmart claims the damage was caused by mis alignment. They do not offer alignment when you purchase the tires and do not align tires in their automotive department.
This is a great reason they can avoid replacing bad tires for FREE. I will never shop there again and I recomment people buys tires somewhere else.

How would Walmart know that your tires are out of alignment? An experienced mechanic can usually tell, but certainly not the tire monkeys employed by most such places. And it may be impossible to tell, especially if the old tires were severely worn. Like I said, alignment should be checked every time you replace tires. The place to do that is a full service shop, not Walmart. Besides, you could and should have noticed abnormal tire wear both on your old tires and on the new ones. Sounds like you are one of those people who doesn't do even the most basic of maintenance.

So it would be logical to conclude that they wouldn’t tell their customers that their vehicles were out of alignment, correct?

It should be Walmart's position to tell a customer that their car is out of alignment before they sell you new tires. That way, you would know in advanced about the fact your tire warranty is very limited. I had my vehicle less than 3 weeks, how would I know the car needed alignment. Walmart does NOT put customers first !

They are correct, the only way you would destroy two tires on one axle in 3000 miles is very bad alignment. It's your responsibility to maintain your car. Walmart doesn't offer alignment. They also can't replace shocks, rebuild your engine or repaint your car. If you want an alignment (which should be checked every time you replace tires), you need to go to a shop that does them. It's not Walmart's fault that you don't maintain your car. I'm sure if you read the paperwork they gave you when you bought the tires, they recommended getting an alignment.
