I purchased a brightly colored bouquet of flowers to be sent to my mother in the UK, it was a large bouqet with about 20 multi colored flowers in a nice red vase.
What my mother received was a cheap skinny clear vase with 3 very dull flowers in it, which when my father sent me a photo of it didn't look anything like what I purchased online.
The real kicker was that on trying to submit a complaint to 1-800-flowers, through their own form on their website,I got back an email saying delivery to their email address [email protected] failed.
Now to my mind a company that takes your money online and doesn't take your complaint online must be a scam. Now on investigation many many people have complained about this company yet the FBI seem to let them continue ... yet we continue to lose money by scammers.
