100 steps from the beach-Jerry Locke Promised to be a man of his word and reimburse us for leaving and lied to us and never did. San Diego California
We took our first week vacation in 15 years (without kids) and we were looking forward to a relaxing trip to the beach. We thought we found the right place until we got there.
First, it's advertised as 100 steps from the beach. Well, I think that you might have to be Godzilla for that to be true.
Second, not much lighting to begin with but the lights that they had were missing bulbs or burned out.
3. They had a $25.00 garage sale tv with a remote that was wrapped in duct tape. Hard to turn on and off because the batteries were dead. We could have lived with all of this so far but when there tankless water heater wasn't working and we had to use a hair dryer on ourselves when we got out of the shower, that was too much!
We informed Jerry and he said that he would look into it. He told us that it was as high as it could get. So we tried again, and still using the hair dryer. My wife called him and asked if anyone else had ever complained about the shower and he said yes but it didn't bother them as much as us. She said that we were not happy and he said that he didn't want this so we could leave early if we wanted to and he would compensate us. Me and my wife talked and decided that we wanted to leave.
We cleaned up the unit and texted Jerry that we decided to leave (he couldn't talk because he was in a meeting) He said (in a text) that he was sorry that we chose that option but that he was a man of his word and he would compensate us. Well, he lied! He and airbnb decided that we were to get nothing! I have all of his texts and will keep for awhile until we are compensated. Karma will come around for little Jerry! I don't have the cord on me to upload texts but I could get this at another time if needed!
