I advertised online that I had a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer that had been in an accident, and wanted to sell it. Scott Mazzo contacted me and stated that he was interested in the car, through his company 1HourCash4Cars. I told him I had been offered $1100 for the car, and that it would have to be towed; it started, but that I wouldn't trust it on the road. He said "That's fine, please call my assistant"...to set it up. He verified that he would give me $1175. He stated that a tow yard (CoPart) would contact me to set it up. I talked to CoPart, who said they would be at my house to pick up the car on Dec 22nd between 1 and 4. I had to take off work without pay to wait for them; when they weren't there by 3;30, I again called them, and they stated that they had been contacted by 1HourCash4Cars, who reneged on the deal, stating that since the car wasn't roadworthy, they would only give me $925 for it. NO ONE called me to tell me they weren't coming.

I called 1HourCash the next day, and they stated that they would NOT pay the agreed upon price, but would have someone out THAT DAY if I agreed to the $925. Since I had already gone to the time and expense of transferring the title over to 1HourCash, and wanted just to have it over with, I agreed. I THEN got a call stating that they could not get anyone out to pick it up until the next week. At this point, I was already using unpaid time to wait for them. (It didn't help that I was called "sweetheart" and "baby" by the male staff at CoPart - Stu?)

I desperately called CoPart and talked to "Lori", who bent over backwards and arranged to have the car picked up as early as possible, on Monday the 26th. (Thank you Lori)

To add to it, the check they sent along with CoPart was for $1175! But I knew that CoPart would lose out on the $$, NOT 1HourCashforCars,so I called CoPart and sent the difference between the check and the agreed upon amount back to CoPart.
Scott Mazzo never called me back ; I talked to different staff in his office, who said that he was "out to dinner" or "away from his desk", and that he would call me right back. He never did. I ended up dealing with secretaries and a man who said they always "leave and pile up all the work "on him.
The lot # for my car (at CoPart) was 29114931.
