I bought a ticket on Aug 2 2019 for a brunch event scheduled for Aug 30, 2019. The seller contacted me 1-2 days prior to the event, stating that it had been canceled due to a death in her family. Paypal then proceeded to contact her bank for the refund. The bank stated insufficient funds and after numerous attempts they were unable to retrieve the monies.
I contacted Eventbrite (online advertiser for the event. They offered no assistance and instructed me to contact the seller. On 9/11 I reached out to the seller/CEO (Altonia Fowler Dugar) of 202 Media and she told me she knew nothing about a refund issue. I sent her the email from paypal and she told me to file a dispute (which I did) and blocked me from Instagram.
I filed a dispute on 9/11/2019 ( no response from the seller). I have now escalated the issue with Paypal. I have yet to hear back from the seller
