4Now SVP dishonest and misleading advertising on ebay ripoff Las Vegas Nevada
I purchased a SVP DC-12x digital camera from 4Now, Inc. through ebay on November 10, 2005. Their site on ebay claimed the camera was a 12 megapixel camera and I fell for their deception. I don't know a whole lot about cameras, but I'm learning more now.
On the cnet website, I was able to find out from other people that they had been duped into buying these cheap cameras that made false claims also. The camera that claims to be 12mp is actually a 3mp camera.
I am working at getting my money back but according to 4Now, Inc's website, once you open the package, they charge a 15% restocking fee, even though they are being dishonest about the products they are selling.
The company 4Now, Inc. should not be allowed to sell the SVP cameras on ebay's website so that other people will not lose their hard earned money for a product that isn't as good as they claim. The SVP company which is located in California, should be honest about the exact number of megapixels that is actually in the camera.
