I had a little luck daytrading stocks in 2000 just using Ameritrade account and a calculator.  Work schedule changes ended that.  But I knew a guy who said he used 4xMadeEasy by GlobalTech with some success, and you can do it at night.  So in 2006 I decided to try 4xMadeEasy.  They tell you to practice with funny money while you learn and get confidence.  The first time I used it to make a practice trade I made $800 on 1st trade in 20 minutes.  Wow!  I thought this was taking candy from a baby.  I thought my stock daytrading was easy.  So I decided I would still practice for 90 days to make sure I had it down solid before I threw thousands of dollars into the forex market.  But something happened a few weeks into my practice: the trades stopped executing properly. 

I contact them and they logged into my computer and 'fixed' the software, and I started again.  Still missing executions.  These missed executions would have cost me thousands in missed profits really fast, if it had been real money.  Again I contacted them and they 'fixed' the software.  Still problems.  They tried to sell me on getting a mentor for like another$3k.  Of course, they act like the problem is with me.  Then the told just put money in the trading account and start making active trades, that I would see that it works.  Yeah, I'm going to make trades for thousands of dollars in real money when the software failed me with funny money!  I would have shut it down right then I was so discouraged. 

I paid several thousand dollars for the software, and purchased their extra datastream service to maximize my chances, and I had even spent $2k on a brand new computer when I started this venture.  I was serious about it.  I turned my back on it for over a year before I came back and tried again.  Of course, to keep my options open I had to let them keep billing my credit $200 a month, or you lose your access permanently and lose what you invested in their software.  Of course, when I start again, same spotty results.  I contact them, spent hours on the phone to no avail.  I requested someone in management with GlobalTech contact me.  Eventually they did. 

Then I got the truth about the inconsistent results: when you are practicing with 4xMadeEasy, their servers don't execute the trades automatically at all.  They have people on their end taking your automatic trades and processing them by hand and transmitting results back to you.  If they were on a smoke break or talking to their pal, your "automatic" practice trades don't execute until they get around to it, and so of course you start seeing your play money vanish.  He tells me that obviously I get how to do it, and should put money in the real account, because that account actually gets real automatic processing by their servers.....  Could have been honest and told me that like 14 months earlier!!  I might have actually tossed a grand or two in there and tried it live had he told me the glitch in the practice account was human!!! 

At that point, no matter if my mother swore to me she made a million bucks with their service I was too pissed to do anything but immediately discontinue their services and walk away to about $5k in losses.  I would never do business with GlobalTech again.  I felt like a real dumb*ss.  I am going back to daytrading stocks the old fashioned way with my PC, my calculator, and TDAmeritrade account.  Even with 20 minute delay in pricing data I still easily made money.  GlobalTech is a slick outfit.  They get people to pay to go to conferences, all kinds of BS, but couldn't find their way to just be honest with a customer right from the start.
