A-1 Imports rip off artist and liars at their best Harrisburg Pennsylvania
I was contacted by this company about a year ago. I was looking for a change of scenery with what I had worked previously, and figured to give it a shot in a new field.
From the moment I walked into the office, I could feel a weird aura about the place. Went in for my interview and found out I was hired! I was excited about this "maketing and management" position. I went out and purchased some new clothing to appear more in business attire. On my "second" interview, I was actually taken out on the road and got to see what they did exactly. Never had any of my questions answered directly. I was unaware that I would spend my "first day" out on the road and trying to sell crappy binoculars, handbags, and cheap mp3 players.
After my first day, i decided to take the job anyway, more because I felt pressured into the position. After about a month on the job, and spending more money then i was making, i decided to call it quits. I don't think a day passed in which I actually made a profit. And when I had asked about reimbursments for gas, food, etc., I was told I would recieve paperwork to file for my taxes. Well, tax season for 2007 came around, and nothing was sent to me. Several phones about that were unanswered, and overall, i ended up spending close to $1,000 in that month on expenses that were never payed back.
It was a waste of time with employees whom seem to be brainwashed. Ironically my fiance recieved a phone call from them a few weeks ago about a job opening, in which I laughed at that.
As the saying goes, buyer beware...
