Whirlpool ownes Maytag now. There was a recall on my Maytag Dishwasher due to fire. Maytag sent me the replacement part. Called Maytag and was told to call A and E Factory Service and they do good work to install this part because Maytag doesn't work on dishwashers anymore.

NOTE: After finding out about Licenses in NY and finding out about Envoronmental Field Service the replacement dishwasher installation License. I then checked on A and E Factory Service and found they are not Licensed in my state in work on dishwashers. This Co. is working without a license and is hired by Whirlpool. Read on and you will understand.

A and E Factory service distroyed my dishwasher. Door doesn't close. I have to push the door like I am moving furniture I can't lift. That is how hard the mechanic showed me I had to push on the top ends of the door. Makes sence that the door plastic is now cracked on the door. Door Bows, Shakes and sounds like a bom and doesn't clean good now.

The mechanic from A and E got an Electric Shock while doing electric work installing this part. He said something is wrong with your dishwasher that is not supposed to happen. He went to the van and got an electric tester and said your machine is not working right. He said he must of touched a live wire by mistake because nothing is wrong with my machine. He finished and said well see how to close the door now. And I couldn't close the door. He said push real hard because he had to change the gasket and now it closes this way. I had to push the door so hard like I was moving furniture I couldn't lift.

Called Maytag many many times to complain each time finding out more wrong with the dishwasher. Finally told to call A and E Factory Service back. And I did so.

Asked who did this and I didn't know. Asked is it the jewish guy with the think on his head and said no. He did an adjustment on the hinge. Then I was told to close my eyes and I peaked and he lifted the door and wiggled it. I was then told to close my eyes again so he can repair my dishwasher and I did and was afraid to peak. and then he said he was finished. I did ask him about the bow in the door because I had asked Maytag about this and was finally told It shouldn't bow after replacement of this part. The mechanic said it's fine after replacement of this part. I asked about the crack in the plastic in the door and was told "well maybe it was there before the first mechanic came in and how does he know. I didn't answer but if a person has to push so hard on the top 2 ends of the door to close it and the door bows it makes sence that the door would end up cracked now. This is what I saw 1 min. after the first mechanic was here and called Maytag right away. But you see it doesn't matter because none of this because the machine doesn't work right at all anyway now.

I was told by Maytag that Worldpool will probably replace the dishwasher now. I did write to Worldpool because you can't get to speak to someone higher up in Worldpool they are kind of hiding and won't get on the phone.

I was told I will have to pick a appliance store I want the new machine to go to and they would install the dishwasher also. I said OK. I was told to wait to hear from them. Called many times and finally told I will get a new dishwasher and again what model and serial no do i have and I will get a call from them telling me what 2 models I can choose from.

I started checking out models. I didn't understand many things (there terminology) I called Maytag and asked questions they didn't seem to know either and kept putting me on hold, getting back to me and answering me. I have called many times as I have more questions and if I asked the same question to a different person I have also received different answers to the same question. They also don't seem to know what they are doing.

I was finally offered 1 model and I said I would have to check it out. Well the first thing I noticed it doesn't come in bisque that is what I need. I called Maytag again and was told in a few weeks again someone will get back to me again. Finally accepted a model they offered. I also said I was told I have to pick a store I want it to go through and told Maytag the store and asked if they needed the address and was told no and the store is on there list and was informed that I would only hear from the store not Maytag now and the store would tell me when it is in and set up installation date with me. I said good.

I now received a call from Worldpool Co-Contractor no persons name no real co name and was informed at about 6:00 pm they have my dishwasher and do I want it installed the following morning. I said I would have to get back to them. I was supposed to get a call from the store not Worldpool Co Contractor. Worldpool doesn't install dishwashers who is this and the phone call is even strange not even a first name of who I was speaking to.

I called Worldpool and was told I was never asked to give them a name of a store I wanted the dishwasher to go through. I was told this by 2 people at Maytag. What is going on. After many many calls I finally found that the store I picked is on there list but not in my location and is a different store. And that is why they didn't do it and they went ahead and sent it to some co. and they will install it.

I finally got Maytag to tell me that Environmental Field Co will install the dishwasher. I called Maytag back after speaking to a neighbor and asked Maytag if Environmental Field service is installing my dishwasher and was told yes and asked if they are Licensed to install dishwashers and was told that Environmental Field Service is Licensed to Install MY Dishwasher. I have called Maytag many times and asked for there tel. no and they said they don't have it. I only received a cell phone no. I asked if they have there address and was told no. I finall asked many more times and was given a tel no. and called and it only got me back to Maytag. Finally called and was given a local tel. no and it was wrong. Called again given a local address and it's not Environmental Field Service also. Did research on the comp. to locate Environmental Field Service and found they are in another state. I have called many Companies first to find out if they are the co. I am looking for.

I now found that Environmental Field Service doesn't install dishwashers.

They hire plumbers or Companies that are licensed to install dishwashers.

Maytag gave me the wrong info.

I now went after Environmental Field Service to find out who is installing my dishwasher and there license no. and was told I won;t get it from them. And If I have a problem I will deal with Maytag and them and not the co. installing my dishwasher.

I called 311 in NY and was told I shouldn't let them install my dishwasher unless I know the plumber and info and license no and call them back to check on it.

I held off till I received a name of a co. and a license no. It was wrong and I now received a license no. and was told 1 bad thing about them regarding quality of work.

Got in touch with Maytag many times and was told I have no choice but to now let them install my machine. I did and they had to come 3 times because it wasn't right with 4 appointments before it is installed o-k

THIS IS IMPORTANT

Why did Whirlpool hire A and E Factory Service to do installation of the inside panel of my dishwasher (ELECTRICAL) that I paid for and really liked when they are NOT LICENSED to INSTALL DISHWASHERS.

SHAME ON MAYTAG AND SHAME ON A AND E FACTORY SERVICE.

Why didn't Maytag tell me to call a Licensed co. to do this installation and maybe my machine wouldn't be distroyed.

I wasn't smart enough when dealing with WHIRLPOOL. I thought they were protecting me with the recall being done. Not smart enough in the beginning to find out if the co. Whirlpool told me to call was licensed.

There still should be a CLASS ACTION against WHIRLPOOL and maybe A and E Factory Service. Shame on Whirlpool for not telling me to call a co. that is licensed to do this job. This would help Whirlpool in the first place. And shame on A and E factory Service to hire people that don't know what they are doing. When I called A and E to set up the second appt. the person I spoke to told me some of the mechanics don't know what they are doing and she works for A and E and answers the phone there.

I paid for this machine and it really cleaned dishes and pots well and had a shorter time cycle than the new ones

My new machine that was a replacement from Whirlpool doesn't clean dishes and pots well. I still am not happy with it. I have been on the phone with Whirlpool and Maytag at least 100 hours regarding this. And days doing research on the comp. and Tel. to end up with a machine I still don't like.

I am giving Ripoff Report authorization to have a Lawyer contact me regarding this. You have permission to give a Lawyer my tel. and Email no.

Thanks
