I am an AHS customer for 9 years, I have a problem in my Air conditioner and the AHS provided me this company on 05/25, ( dispatched # 380529682 ) the tech named Chris F came to my house and found a leak and did his job and fixed the problem but he charged me extra out of my pocket and i paid a total of $250, plus my insurance company cover other expenses. But very next day, the air conditioner wasn't cooling enough again and l called AHS again and the Tech came after two days and said everything looks okay. On 08/03/16 After 5 days, the air conditioning stop working completely and i called the AHS once again and they said they will re call the company but they didn't call that day. The next day i called all day and their phone always went to the answering machine. I called again and AHS they said they will dispatch this work orders again to the company, but the company called me really late at 04:45 PM on 08/04/16 Thursday and said it will take 5 days to see the problem, the customer service lady was very unprofessional and said they can't help me anymore and to call the AHS again. I called the AHS again and they said they cant help me to find another company because this company already came to my house. ( i am stuck with this till to fix my problem) Now i have no air condition at my house and my house temperature is more then 100, we are total 7 people going to my friend house and i will try to gets window unit to survive till to Monday. I have older parents theirs ages is 88 and 89 years, and I have 12 year old kids too. I think they're not professional and don't know much about their job, and can't understand others problem. If they solved this problem the first time, we would not go through all this. I have very bad experience with this company and I don't recommend this company even if they did their service free of cost.

They have a terrible service contract in my experience especially when it comes to A/C warranty service. Their contract gives them many, many loopholes to not fulfil their end of the contract. Read the contract to see if they have already performed on their end - even though you still don't have a working a/c. Yes, their contract is that bad.
If your unit is 9+ years old, then you may actually need another unit. I don't know because I am not an a/c tech, but I if I were in your shoes, I would get another reputable a/c contractor out there to repair or replace your HVAC as required.
Do some research on AHS. They have a bad reputation, especially with a/c service work.
