A-Z Handyman Services Shaun Mills Ripoff, Thief, Liar, Incomplete Job Lima Ohio
We needed this guy to finish our bathroom... Our bathroom was already partially done from a previous "handyman" who didn't finish the job after installing a shower. (Had just a tub before.) Well, this guy showed up the first day and went over everything he would be doing. Asked for $500 up front for the materials. The next day he calls and says he lost him wallet... Said he also had $600 in him wallet from another job he was doing. We called him the next day and he said that Lowe's called him and said they found him wallet. Then he said that all the money was gone... But he said he would be over soon to start working... He said he would just buy materials out of the money that was left for the job. He gave us a list of the things to go buy, that he needed, and we went and got them...
The next time he came over he had a guy with him to help get the work done... My boyfriend and I were upstairs while my mom was downstairs... We WATCHED the helper... go out to Shaun's truck with a pack of my mom's syringes(she has diabetes) and he got in the truck... unrolled the pack and was looking at them. Then he put them in his coat in the truck... THEN not even 10 minutes later... He was back out in the truck looking at a bottle of my mom's PILLS! My boyfriend went downstairs and took this guy outside and told him to go the the syringes and pills that he took! My b/f was ready to punch him. My boyfriend and I aren't stupid... Why would this guy need syringes!? It's obvious he's using the to shoot up some drugs. The guy later went to my mom and told on himself since he got busted. Then had the NERVE to ask my mom if he could have the pills... And said he needed the syringes for his sister who is diabetic... REALLY, dude? If your sister NEEDED them... They would be PRESCRIBED TO HER!!!
So the next time Shaun comes back... He doesn't bring his helper and said he only needed that guy so he could drive to the jobs because Shaun has some issues with his license.
AND Shaun brought his 5 year old daughter here with him too... We had to entertain and feed his kid while he was here... on 2 different occasions! Not that it was a big deal... BUT his kid sounded like she had a bad cold... And my mom has diabetes and gets sick easily...
He got just about all the drywall put up and did SOME mudding... Didn't hook our bathroom sink back up or even mount the sink cabinet back to the wall... So here we are... STILL stuck with an UNFINISHED bathroom!!! But since my mom thought he was pretty much done... She paid him the rest of the money... Which was stupid... But... what's done is done. He came over one more time after she paid him and he had his daughter with him... We talked to him the day before and he said he couldn't come over because he was feeling sick... Then the next day when he came over with his kid... He was here for no longer than a half hour... He did some sanding and then said he had to leave because he was feeling sick... (Probably should get off the DRUGS, son!)
Little does he know... But we have some info on him that can be used against him... ;)
