A1 Doors and Moulding in Surrey BC

 

 We are a renovation Company and our client we were doing an Addition and full reno for wanted to use A1 doors & Mouldings.  We had never used them before and thought ok let try them.  Started off that we had to fill out a credit app – sure ok makes sense.  Sent our client there and she started to have issues  - issues happen.  So I went in can gave them all the info again, they lost it a second time.  We gave them the info for a third time and finally ordered – order took forever.  When we finally got it – it wasn’t complete – issue with the final product which we fixed.  We also had to pay.  I was surprised as we filled out a credit app.  I was told oh no we don’t give credit for renovations.  Fine whatever. Had issues with all the doors order, but we got through it.  Alot of extra charges. We installed the bedroom door and trimmed it out and painted.  Went to put on the handles and noticed that the bedroom door handle was drilled at 33” instead of 36” like everything else. Bifold at the front didn’t work and the front door hardware fell apart when we took it out of the box.  We were missing locks and doors and so on, after many trips back and forth and giving back second hand “New” hardware we had most of it fixed.  We had three items remaining the bedroom door, the mirrored door and the hardware. After three months of trying to reach someone and getting promised we finally got ahold of Manpreet.  He promised us a stain grade door for all the issues, the mirrored door and the hardware. New door was delivered, wrong door wasn’t stain grade. Mirrored door wasn’t delivered and the hardware wasn’t delivered.  I called and the mirrored bifold was delivered and not to my surprise it didn’t fit and still no hardware.  Ive reached out to Manpreet and A1 with no fixes to these issues.  They don’t stand behind their service or their products.  They don’t care about the clients.

 

 

 

These issues can be fixed easily – we goto another company that does care and get this done for our client .  No one should wait 3 months.  Now there are the costs involved A1 will have to cover the costs of the new doors, and hardware and delivery and install and material and labour.  We would like 10k from them and what is left over will be returned to them. Or A1 Doors finishes the project and pays for all the issues caused from their mistakes, we move on and never use this company again.

 

 

I highly recommend that no one uses them
