aafes f*cks veterans! federal government and the U.S. treasury They made my 600.00 debt into a 2,000.00 debt and keep garnishing my taxes/wages and no credit recieved. madison, Wisconsin
After I got out of the Army after 30 months for overseas, AAFES turned my debt into 1500 dollars more than it was. They added all these bullsh*t penalties and interest fees on top of what I owed them. I joined the national guard after active duty. They garnished 3 months of pay and show no records of the money they took. They just recently stopped my federal refund to take all the money they say I owe them. They wont give me any credit for the money they took prior to this and they wont show me any billing statements. This is robbery by the government!!! I can't belive they are allowed to take veterans money at will. I am a purple heart veteran and it makes me sick to my stomach to know that the government that I fought and almost died for is treating vets like this. Justice must be done!
