I asked him ( Carlitos manager,) to produce the amended contract. In other words he lied. I explained I would abide by the amended contract; he hasn't produced it as of yet. I read contracts and what I don't understand: I can ask my younger sister( she is an attorney). I am 65 years of age and in order for me to break into my AAmerican Storage; I would have to hire SWAT or some branch of the Military. They protect themselves against the customer, but they don't protect themselves against their employees, who are the ones stealing from the renters. I also have pictures of 3, locks on my storage, so it is completely unnecessary to cut my lock, especially when my payment was made on time.

ALL storage units have this policy. The latch assembly has a spot for two individuals locks. One is for you. The other spot is for the storage company. If you don't pay, they will place a lock of their own in the second spot. In order for you to get your stuff, you have to pay them what you owe. EVERYONE understands this. It's like looking both ways before you cross a street. Nobody should have to post a written policy for something as basic as this. I would think someone should have learned it after the 1st lock got cut off. Look out for that bus.
