As a former employee, I can tell you I've seen managers threaten people as soon as they're even a few hours late. The guy was in the hospital, and all they can say is he broke the contract. They don't want to work with customers because they can clean it up and re-lease it and keep any money you paid for it. I've seen the turnaround of furniture and electronics at an Aaron's store. I was a PT (product technician), and I've seen the wholly inappropriate behavior from managers. I've even seen District Managers act the same way. You have to be a thug to work as a manager at Aaron's. It seems to be in the job description somewhere.

This Customer was over 45 days late with 5 broken promises. Tell the electric company not to cut your power. Also it was only her 1st few payments. According to the lease agreement that the customer put their signiture on, the merchandise belongs to AArons untill it is payed off not to mention the fact that the minute the payment is late you no longer have a account with them. I am sorry that this customer felt intimidated by them but she broke the agreement not them.
